In addition to the community arts experience listed here, I have also a total of seven years experience in teaching in Art and Design Technology departments at KS3 and on GCSE courses and eight years experience working as a pictorial sign painter.

Interests

I am interested in the folk traditions active in carnival and contemporary street arts.

My personal artwork involves an investigation of the processes of making masks, processional sculpture and carnival media. In 2006 I travelled in north India and researched the folk art traditions there.

In 2001 I began offering visual arts workshops to all age and ability groups. Since 2008 I have been based in Hull working through Creative Partnerships and Artlink Community Arts.
